Junior Heroes Training
About Junior Heroes Journey
Year 5 and/or Year 6 become positive role models in school and heroes training helps them discover the skills they will need to help make a difference to themselves and other people. We initially look at influencing factors and what attributes they will need to become successful. They will gain confidence in speaking in small groups, 1:1 etc.
Outcomes
- To provide students with opportunities to develop their communication and confidence skills.
- To develop a team of heroes in school who are trained to mentor and support younger students
- To enable students to reflect on what it is to be a positive role model and when and how they can be a hero
- To enable student to reflect on their own personal journey through school and how they can support younger students
